Mrs. Stephanie Cox

Fourth Grade
Director of Professional Development and Fourth Grade
BS Gwynedd Mercy College

Mrs. Stephanie Cox earned her  B.S. in Elementary Education from Gwynedd-Mercy College in 2006. Not long after graduating from Gwynedd, she was hired as a building substitute teacher in Bensalem School District gaining experience in various grade levels and content areas. After working in Bensalem for several years, Mrs. Cox felt the need to enter a teaching environment where she could make a difference in the lives of children not only educationally but spiritually as well. The parochial schools fit just perfectly! Mrs. Cox has been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 2008 and has been employed at Our Lady of Mercy Regional since its inception in 2012. She has spent over a decade teaching fourth grade and truly loves coming to work at OLM each and every day!

Mrs. Cox resides in Lower Bucks County with her husband, Dennis, and their new puppy, Guinness. Her husband, Dennis, is also an educator. Currently, he teaches English and is the Lead Teacher of Special Education English at William Tennent High School. He also coaches varsity football at Council Rock South High School.

In her spare time, Mrs. Cox enjoys reading, cooking/baking, shopping, going down the Jersey Shore, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Cox is an avid Phillies fan and the Philly Phanatic even made a guest appearance at her wedding!
