Mrs. Rosemary Kennedy
Third Grade
Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator, Grades 3-5
M. ED Arcadia University
I have had the privilege of being a teacher in the Archdiocesan schools for many years. Most of that time has been spent in third grade (my favorite) with a few years spent in second grade. I have been teaching at OLM since it opened in 2012, and prior to that I spent 26 years at St. Catherine of Siena in Horsham.
I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Gwynedd-Mercy University, and then went on to earn an M.Ed in Elementary Education with a Core Concentration in Educational Technology from Arcadia University. Additionally, I hold several certifications: Pennsylvania Department of Education Instructional II Certification, Wilson Reading System Level I Certification, and Archdiocese of Philadelphia Level III Professional Religion Certification.
When not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. Although I am not much of a sports fan, in the evenings and on the weekends, you will most likely find me on the baseball, lacrosse, field hockey, or soccer fields, as well as on the basketball court watching and cheering on my grandchildren.
I am honored to teach at OLM with an amazing team of dedicated, talented, caring individuals. I truly enjoy spending my days with your children – learning with and from them, and I am grateful to you for sharing them. They make me SMILE everyday!
