About Mr. Frank Ferraro

Mr. Ferraro began studying the trumpet at age eight. He made his solo debut with the Reading Symphony at age fifteen with his father, Frank Sr. at the podium serving as guest conductor. In 1984, Mr. Ferraro won a full scholarship to attend the famed Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree, studying under Frank Kaderabek, former principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
He has appeared on ESPN Network, TNT Network, ABC’s “Good Morning America” and RAI Uno Television Network in Rome, Italy, and can be heard on the recent CD “Vistas” on iTunes.
Mr. Ferraro currently performs with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He has appeared in performances with Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Branford Marsalis, Bernadette Peters, The 3 Irish Tenors, Styx, Jetho Tull, Manhiem Steamrollers, Dave Brubeck, Julie Andrews and Dudley Moore.
