SUBJECT: Letter of Appreciation for the Home and School Association

1. I offer my many thanks and appreciation to the students, faculty, and administration of Our
Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School for your support to the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and
Airman of the Combine Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR). On behalf of
CJTF-OIR, I would like to thank all the students, families, and the Home and School Association for
coordinating the collection of ‘Treats for the Troops.’ The men and women of CJTF-OIR are
extremely grateful for your support and generosity. The delivery of the packages was a great
morale booster for American Service Members serving in a theater of combat. Staying connected to
our families and to American society is extremely important, particularly during the holidays, and
this kind gesture was truly appreciated.

2. Thank you again for your time, dedication, and generosity for the troops serving in Bagdhad,
Iraq.
