Ms. Dorothy Hogan has been here at Our Lady of Mercy since 2019.  She has been teaching for over thirty years and was at St Helena School in Philadelphia and Blessed Trinity School in the past.  She has taught first, fifth and sixth grades and also the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program.  She attended St. Helena School, Cardinal Dougherty High School, Penn State University and Temple University. She has been certified in the Orton – Gillingham Dyslexia Program since 2012 and has recently received her Advanced Certification and Supervisor Certificate.  She lives in Philadelphia with her  dog, Augie. Her hope is always to create a classroom atmosphere of fun, laughter, happiness and success for all her students.
